Industrial Packing for Durability

A Pasted Valve Stepped End (PVSE) multi-wall paper bag is a widely used industrial packaging option ideal for dry, free-flowing products. Designed for efficiency, these bags are filled on high-speed equipment through a horizontal spout. Once filled, the pressure of the product inside automatically seals the valve, eliminating the need for extra closure steps.

This design creates a square, stable bag that stacks neatly on pallets and maximizes storage efficiency. PVSE bags can also be custom printed on the sides or ends, providing clear branding and easy product identification throughout distribution.

Types of Valves

Valve bags are designed with a filling spout located in the top corner of the bag. Products are introduced into the bag using air pressure, an impeller, or an auger system. Once the bag is discharged from the filling equipment, the pressure of the product inside forces the valve to close, creating a secure self-seal. This design ensures reliable containment and efficient handling from the point of fill through final delivery.

Valve bags can be fitted with different valve, or “sleeve,” types. While each style serves the same core purpose, selecting the right sleeve depends on your product characteristics and filling equipment. Our capabilities include the following valve types:

  • Reinforcing Strip

  • Reinforced Poly Lock
  • Double Trap
  • Paper Tube Insert
  • Paper Tube Insert
  • Tuck-In
  • Hinged Tuck-In
  • Double Trap Sonic Seal
  • Reduced Sleeve
